Beijing No.2 Experimental Primary School Yongding Branch is located in Feng Village, Yongding County, Mentougou District. The school was founded in 1908 with a long history.   It is also an innovative school full of vitality. It has laid a solid foundation for students to have special skills and all-round development. The school adheres to the concept of "Love breeds love, both teachers and students are main bodies of the school’s education work”. The school-running practices are led by philosophy of "love as the source, people-oriented ", guided by values, and established by culture, which have promoted the connotation and sustainable development of the school.

BTC Director Tao and teacher Yang accompanied thespecially-invited education expert Susi Pearson, came to Beijing No.2 Experimental Primary School Yongding Branch. Firstly, the BTC visiting group observed an English class of Grade One. The teacher was lively in class and used a very interesting "magician's game" to lead the children into English learning. In a series of language games, the children were led to learn words and sentence patterns about numbers and colors. The children were highly motivated and the class was very active!

After class, Susi and the school teachers from English group had a meeting. Susi highly complimented the English class of Grade One. Both sides exchanged teaching methods and experience, and compared the educational features between China and the UK.

After the meeting, the school director Zhang showed BTC team around the campus. Beijing No.2 Experimental Primary School Yongding Branch has complete facilitiesand various classrooms, which can fully meet the needs of students' all-round development. When the British expert Susi saw the exquisite traditional Chinese handcrafts created by the students themselves, such as paper cuts and kites in the club classroom, traditional Chinese musical instruments in the music room, Susi couldn't help admiring them!
