Attentive Details Show Love and Care

     Providing medical support services for foreign teachers has always been a feature of the foreign teacher project’s service and management of Beijing Broaden & Top-trans Communication Center (BTC). No matter whether it is an emergency treatment on the late-night, or a continuous treatment for several days, or even going from one hospital to another, BTC team will always contact specialist in the first time to provide the best medical treatment for the foreign teachers. BTC has never changed the original heart to treat the foreign teachers as friends and relatives, only for them to get the best treatment and a rapid recovery in China.

     In early August this year, Nic, a foreign teacher in BTC, went to Beijing Mentougou District Hospital. He was diagnosed by a specialist with needing a surgery. When the leaders of BTC center learnt about this, they paid special attention to it and sent teachers to contact the hospital at the first time, and provide comprehensive support, including accompanying interpretation for a treatment. During the examination and treatment of Nic, the leaders of BTC were also very concerned about the state of illness of Nic, asking about the progress of treatment and the arrangement of surgery. With the joint efforts of BTC team and the Mentougou District Hospital, the operation was successfully completed. After the operation, although the staff of BTC could not be admitted to the hospital to accompany the foreign teacher due to the epidemic control regulations, they asked about Nic’s recovery every day, and gave him spiritual comfort and encouragement.

     After 7 days of postoperative recovery, the foreign teacher's body indicators returned to normal, and finally the hospital informed that he could be discharged. On the morning of August 17th, the staff of BTC came to the hospital to pick up Nic, and held a brief appreciation ceremony with the hospital leaders and medical team members in the conference center to express BTC’s sincere gratitude to the hospital. BTC center’s director Wang Peng also attended the ceremony and presented a pennant to the Mentougou district hospital. In his speech, Director Wang Peng first thanked Professor Li Hucheng, the expert of General Surgery Department of the hospital, and the whole medical team, for their superb surgery skill and meticulous and professional care of the foreign teacher. At the same time, director Wang expressed his pride for the rapid development of his hometown Mentougou and the great changes in medical conditions of the Mentougou district hospital. As the chief surgeon of Nic, Professor Li Hucheng, a surgical expert, spoke first and briefly reviewed the situation before and after the surgery. After that, Fu Jingwei, the executive vice president of the hospital, spoke on behalf of the hospital, first briefly introduced the development of the district hospital in recent years, then made professional comments on Nic's condition and operation, and expressed good wishes for Nic in the end. The two sides of BTC and the Mentougou district hospital had pleasant exchanges on the convenience of medical treatment for foreign teachers and a bilateral cooperation in international communication and English training.

     Accompanying foreign teachers for a medical treatment, visiting sick foreign teachers, and sending warmth to foreign teachers not only to convey BTC’s sympathy, but also greatly improve the centripetal force and cohesion in BTC group. In the future, BTC will be more concerned about the foreign teachers’ lives in China from all aspects, and send love to each foreign teacher with sincerity and true feelings, send warmth to the bottom of each one's heart!
