2017 English Party for New Year held by Beijing Yuyuan Middle School

On December 25th, the teachers and students from Beijing Yuyuan High School organized a big English party with the theme "My Beautiful Youth, My Colorful Stage - Students' Talent Show", which aimed to provide students a platform for practicing English and showcasing their English learning results, stimulating their enthusiasm for learning. At the same time, the teachers and students also wanted to leave foreign language teachers Duncan and Shane special New Year memories.

The party was held in the school canteen. Rows of seats have been moved to the corner, leaving space for the stage. Large projector, colorful floral ornaments, bright lights all reflected students' zeal for the event. All guests received a beautiful Christmas hat as a gift.

As the language experts and directors of this party, Duncan and Shane made a brife welcome speech first. Then the show began. Bilingual hosting, ensemble of flutes, Guzheng, chorus and solo of English songs, and dancing were shown in turn. And a student even translated and recited the poem Some People writing by Zang Kejia, leaving us deep impression. And then teachers performed a English chorus Sailing. Duncan and Shane sang the famous "Song of the Five Rings" favored by foreigners. All programs got warm applause, and all student performers were also smiling. The last activity was Cha Cha Slide, a passionate, energetic group dance that pushed the party to another climax. All the student performers and teachers took part in the dance, and moved the hearts of all invited guests with their passion to join in the dance.

做为学校英语项目的合作方，北京博文圣译国际文化交流中心的主任王朋也出席了此次活动，并在最后做了英文的总结发言。他指出，有外教的指导，同学们的进步让他惊讶！希望同学们能再接再励，取得更大的进步。

As the foreign teacher program partner, Edward Wang, the Director of Beijing Broaden & Top-trans Communication Center, also attended the show and made an English summary speech. He said he was amazed by the progress of the students's English under the help of the foreign teachers!
